Crunchyroll announced that it will be streaming BLUE LOCK Season 2 starting on October 5 at 9 am PT. The highly-anticipated sequel premieres in Japan on the same day and to help fans refresh their memories of the first season, Crunchyroll prepared a recap video:
The second season of the BLUE LOCK anime, BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN, is slated to run for 14 episodes. Studio 8bit is returning to animate, with Yuji Haibara as the chief director and Shintaro Inokawa as the director. Taku Kishimoto is doing the character designs with original author Mineyuki Kaneshiro on story composition. Kenji Tanabe is returning as the character designer (Kento Toya, who also worked as a character designer on the first season is not). Jun Murayama is composing the music. The cast returns and now includes:
