Netflix celebrated its 4th Geeked Week in 2024, featuring a bunch of news and announcements for their titles through September 16-19. The event was held live in Atlanta, with Joe Manganiello as the host. Read on for the recap of Netflix Geeked Week 2024, focusing on their anime/animation reveals (and only a few of the live-action ones).

Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 revealed the first trailer, as well as a January 2025 release date.

A short sneak peek video was released for the The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep anime movie. It features Geralt and Jaskier having a discussion by the fire, and they are voiced by Doug Cockle and Joey Batey respectively. The release date has been set for February 11, 2025.

The new Devil May Cry animated series revealed a new trailer, as well as an April 2025 release date. Johnny Yong Bosch was also introduced as Dante.
Arcane Season 2 revealed a new teaser featuring Vi’s struggle, as well as the release schedule. Just like the first season, the sequel will also have 3 parts (acts). They will be released weekly on November 9, November 16, and November 23.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch revealed the first look teaser, introducing Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher.
A new animated project was announced for Cyberpunk 2077, teased as a new collaboration between Netflix Animation, CDPR and Cyberpunk.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft revealed a new trailer, featuring the “Gold Guns Girls” song by METRIC. The animated series is set to release on Netflix on October 10.

SAKAMOTO DAYS didn’t share any new footage, but they did release a new look at the action scenes from the previous trailer.
Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance revealed a new trailer featuring the opening scene ahead of the show’s October 17 release on Netflix.

Magic: The Gathering revealed a first look image and confirmed that the animated series is in production with “a new creative direction from showrunner Terry Matalas in partnership with Hasbro Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast.”
The Dragon Prince Season 7, or The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos, revealed a new trailer and a December 19 release date. It will be the last season of the series.
Twilight of the Gods revealed the first 4 minutes through a new clip, and the animated series began streaming on Netflix on September 19. There are 8 episodes available.
The Wolf King animated series revealed a trailer, along with a 2025 release date.

Besides teasing Chopper, the ONE PIECE live-action also announced Joe Manganiello and Lera Abova are joining the cast as Crocodile and Robin, respectively.
The other live-action highlight that might be interesting to anime fans was the Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 update. The series announced that Miya Cech was cast as Toph, along with confirming that the 2nd season is in production.
