Sparking Zero Tops Pre-Order Charts on PlayStation and Steam

DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO is currently ranked first in pre-order charts for both PlayStation and Steam. All three versions of the game are ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on the PlayStation Store while over on Steam, the game ranks third among the Top Sellers chart, making it first among pre-order games with Metaphor: ReFantazio and Silent Hill 2 behind it.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO will be released on Friday, October 11, 2024, alongside the upcoming premiere of the new anime Dragon Ball: Daima. The game will feature 180 total characters, including ones from Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and the 12 movies. Fans who also pre-order the game will receive a pre-order bonus character in Goku (mini) in celebration of the Daima‘s release. The full field of characters can be viewed below:

The game will feature different modes including Episode Battle, Custom Battle, Ranked Match, and Tournament. Custom Battle will also come with “Bonus Battles” that will feature original battle situations that require different conditions to achieve victory. Fans will also be able to enjoy Edit Mode, which allows users to upload battles for others to experience.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO is developed Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Spike Chunsoft previously worked on the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi game, which was released in 2005. This marks the first console game for the franchise in 14 years, with Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 being the previous one released in 2010.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO will be released on Friday, October 11, 2024. The upcoming anime series Dragon Ball: Daima produced by Toei Animation will release on the same day. Fans will be able to watch the series on Crunchyroll with English subtitles. The English dub will receive a three-episode premiere in US theaters between November 10-12.
